The Alien Activities Comission is a fictional organization featured in comic books published by Marvel Comics. They appeared in issues of The Avengers and played a part in the 1970s storyline known as "The Kree-Skrull War".
History[]
The Alien Activities Commission was an organization designed to oversee and monitor the presence of extraterrestrial life on Earth. They coordinated their efforts with the S.H.I.E.L.D. espionage agency. The head of the Alien Activities Commission was a man named H. Warren Craddock, who unbeknownst to everyone, was actually an alien himself. The real Craddock was supplanted by a shape-shifter known as a Skrull.
The Craddock Skrull enlisted Nick Fury's aid in causing trouble for the Avengers. He had him send their armored Mandroids to Avengers Mansion during a time when the Skrulls were at war with the Kree, and the Earth became their battlefield. [1]
