Alejandro Sanchez is a fictional super-hero featured in comic books published by DC Comics. He is the third individual to adopt the code name of Firebrand and headlined his own Firebrand comic book series in 1996, beginning with issue #1. His series lasted for only nine issues. The character was killed off by a Checkmate agent who slit his throat with a concealed blade in the "Up the Ante" story from JSA Secret Files & Origins #2.
