Includes a list of characters, actors and production crew members whose first names are Alan. |
Blackgas[]
Alan was the husband of Kate and the father of Tyler. He lived in the town of Footstep on Smoky Island. In 2006, a long-dormant volcano dubbed "The Bulge" erupted, projecting pressurized black gas from underground into the air. The winds blew the black gas across Footstep, and those exposed to it turned into murderous, cannibalistic lunatics. How or whether Alan was affected by the black gas is unknown. Kate was definitely infected however. She cut off Alan's head, castrated him, and stuffed his genitals into his mouth. Tyler and his girlfriend Soo Park came home to find Kate standing over Alan's severed head. (Blackgas 1) (Blackgas 2)
Marvel Cinematic Universe[]
Alan was a New York transplant who began living in Los Angeles. Using the Matcher app, he went on a date with Jennifer Walters at a sports bar called Finley's. He disliked L.A., citing that everyone was phony and stating that he was a true New Yorker through and through (even though he had only lived there for fourteen months). While talking with Jen, Alan began ogling other women as they passed by their table. When Jen started talking about herself, Alan lost interest and began flipping through his phone. As the disastrous date came to a close, they both eye-balled the check. Jen reached into her bag to grab her credit card, while Alan reached into his... to grab his keys. He thanked Jen for buying the drinks, then left to take a call. As he walked away, the person on the other end of the phone clearly asked him about his date, and Alan described Jen as a "six". Marvel Universe[]
Man-Thing[]
Alan was an agent of Advanced Idea Mechanics (A.I.M.). The group raided the laboratory of Ted Sallis in the Florida Everglades to steal his SO-2 serum, which was a variant of the Super-Soldier Serum that created Captain America back in the 1940s. Sallis took the only remaining example and tried to escape in his car. He injected himself with the serum so as to avoid it falling into the wrong hands, and the serum transformed him into a hulking muck monster called the Man-Thing. The Man-Thing attacked Alan and shattered his back across its knee. (Savage Tales 1)
