"The Tornado Twins!" is the title to the 373rd issue of Adventure Comics featuring the Legion of Super-Heroes, published by DC Comics. The story was written and designed by Jim Shooter with artwork and inks by Win Mortimer. It was lettered by Ben Oda and edited by Mort Weisinger. The Legion of Super-Heroes are taken aback when two new youths known as the Tornado Twins arrive on the scene and begin stealing their thunder. Karate Kid takes particular umbrage with their seemingly brash attitudes and before long, the Legionnaires wonder if these two new heroes may render them all obsolete. After settling their differences however, the Tornado Twins come clean and reveal their surprising thousand-year heritage.

- The Legion of Super-Heroes were created by writer Otto Binder and artist Al Plastino. They first appeared as a three-member team in the first story in Adventure Comics #247 in April, 1958 titled "The Legion of Super-Heroes". The group would go on to become the main feature of the series and would also spawn numerous Legion of Super-Heroes ongoing comic titles as well as a cartoon series.
- "The Tornado Twins!" is a "Tales of the Legion of Super-Heroes" story.
- Chapter two of this story is titled "The Fun-Loving Allens - Super-Heroes". The title is an acronym and a clue as to their identity.
