Notes & Trivia[]
- The character of Superboy was created by writer Jerry Siegel and artist Joe Shuster. He first appeared in the third story in issue #101 of More Fun Comics in January, 1945 titled "The Origin of Superboy".
- This is the first time that red kryptonite is used for purposes of bio-fission by splitting Superboy into two separate entities. This will happen again with Supergirl in Adventure Comics #313 when red kryptonite splits her between her normal self and her evil "Satan Girl" persona.
