"Superman vs. the City of Tomorrow" is the first issue of the second volume of the ongoing comic book series Action Comics by DC Comics. This issue was written by Grant Morrison with artwork by Rags Morales and Rick Bryant. The cover art was illustrated by Morales and colorist Brad Anderson. Anderson also did the regular coloring for the issue and it was lettered by Patrick Brosseau. Matt Idelson is the editor on the issue with Wil Moss as assistant editor. The issue shipped with a November, 2011 cover date and carries a cover price of $3.99 per copy (US).

- This issue went to second, third, fourth and fifth printings. There were also three variant cover editions. One cover was illustrated by Jim Lee and Scott Williams. One variant was the first printing Rags Morales cover, but with a black border. Another variant is a black and white sketch cover of the first printing cover. The fourth printing is the Jim Lee cover, but as a black and white sketch variant. The black and white first printing cover shipped to retailers at one copy per every two-hundred ordered.
- This series is billed under "The New 52" branding.
- This issue is reprinted in the Superman: Action Comics hardcover collection and the DC Comics: The New 52 hardcover collection.
- This is the first appearance of Mrs. Nyxly, who is Clark Kent's landlady.
