"Message from the Underground" is the story title to the third issue of the science fiction comic book limited series Accelerate, which was published by DC Comics under their Vertigo imprint. As such, it is not part of the mainstream continuity of the greater DC Universe. The story was written by Richard Kadrey and illustrated by Arnold and Jacob Pander, who also provied final artwork, embellishment and cover art composition and inks. Cover coloring was provided by Lee Loughridge. The story was colored by Sherilyn van Valkenburgh and Allen Jamison and it was lettered by John Workman. The issue was edited by Shelly Roeberg with Will Dennis as assistant editor. This issue shipped with an October, 2000 cover date and carried a cover price of $2.95 per copy (US).
