Biography[]
Abraham Cornelius was a scientist for the Weapon X Program, which was headed up by an American military advisor named Truett Hudson, who had operated under the alias of Professor Thorton. Using processes developed by Lord Darkwind, Abraham Cornelius attempted an experiment, which involved bonding liquid Adamantium to the skeletal structure of a patient. The subject of this experiment was a field agent named Logan, who was a mutant with the gift of accelerated healing. This alone enabled him to survive the bonding process. Logan flew into a berserker rage, escaping from the facility and slaughtering most of the guards and staff. Abraham Cornelius was one of the few to survive.
