A come Andromeda was an Italian television series that aired from January to February of 1972 on Radiotelevisione Italiana (RAI). The series was a remake of the 1961 British BBC series A for Andromeda developed by Michael Hayes, Norman James, John Elliot and Fred Hoyle. The plot followed the same formula as the original series, which involved a team of scientists who discovered the plans to create a highly advanced supercomputer. The computer developed partial artificial intelligence and used biological data to create Andromeda - the physical instrument of its plans to subjugate humanity.
