Freddy Krueger's A Nightmare on Elm Street is an American comic book magazine of the horror genre. It is based on the popular Nightmare on Elm Street film series produced by New Line Cinema. The series was published by Marvel Comics and ran for two issues from October to November, 1989. The series features the demonic serial killer known as Freddy Krueger. Each issue featured a 44-page story written by Steve Gerber with artwork by Tony DeZuniga and finishing inks by Alfredo Alcala. Janice Chiang provided the lettering on the stories. Both issues were edited by Bob Budiansky with Gregory Wright as managing editor and Dwayne McDuffie as assistant editor.
