The 6th Day is an American feature film of the science fiction and action genres dealing with the subject of human cloning. It was directed by Roger Spottiswoode with a script written by Cormac and Marianne Wibberley. It was produced by Phoenix Pictures and premiered at the Tokyo International Film Festival on October 28th, 2000. It premiered in the United States on November 13th, 2000 and opened nationwide across the U.S. and Canada on November 17th, 2000.
