"White Light" is the fifth and final episode of season one of the science fiction television series The 4400. It was directed by Tim Hunter and written by series co-creator Scott Peters. The episode premiered on the USA Network on Sunday, August 8th, 2004. In this episode, Kyle Baldwin awakens, but there is something noticeably different about him. Tom doesn't know what to make of it, but he continues to act strangely, speaking in short, measured tones. Warren Lytell continues to play hardball with Dennis Ryland and commits himself to keeping as many of the 4400 in quarantine as possible. Lily begins experiencing some more unexpected complications with her pregnancy and Richard and she decide to leave Arcadia Estates and get away from Jordan Collier's invasive influence. Later, Tom learns the truth about what is really going on with Kyle.

- This episode reveals a major plot point concerning the abductions of the 4400. The 4400 were taken by beings from the far future who altered their genetic structure, enabling them to develop superhuman abilities, which will be vital in preventing a coming war.
- Kaj-Erik Eriksen, Brooke Nevin and Peter Coyote are no longer credited as series regulars after this episode, though they all reprise their respective roles as guest stars in later episodes
