"Return to Barrow"[]

The citizens of Barrow remain crouched behind sandbags, while others ready their weapons to protect the generators. The line of vampires retain a safe distance behind the hill-line. Brian Kitka wonders why they won't attack, and John Ikos posits that they must be engaging upon a new strategy. John is correct in his assertion, as Agent Norris suggests a new game plan to Werner. Suddenly, all of the vampires seem to disappear. Ikos grows more anxious, and Brian returns to his house to gather up a grenade.

The vampires continue to wait things out, as the people of Barrow grow weary from lack of sleep. Suddenly, and without warning, the vampires attack. They hit the guard towers to take out the lights. One of the men, Kenny, uses a UV light to fry Greta. Werner immediately pounces on Kenny and kills him. John tries to get Kenny on the walkie talkie, but Werner picks it up. He tells John that he will have vengeance for those that John and his people have killed.

Another vampire springs up and takes out a man and woman who are guarding Generator 3. Those nearby react instantly, and begin wildly shooting into the night, without any idea where the next attack may be coming from. A man named Tom radios for reinforcements, but is overwhelmed by vampires. Again... and without warning, the vampires attacking the man suddenly disappear. Before him on the ground lies the bloody ruins of what had once been his attackers. He is lost for an explanation.

As the vampires continue to conduct surgical strikes against the perimeter, Brian grows concerned for his son, Marcus, and races back towards his house. John reconnects with Donna Sikorski and coordinates operations with her squad. Meanwhile, Agent Norris reaches the Kitka house first.
